5 Things To Remember For The Perfect Night Out

The perfect night out can include a lot of things. The right people, the right place, the right balance of care-free fun and thoughtful planning. But there are some things you should make sure you do, no matter what you are doing, so that you and your friends can have the perfect night with the most fun.

Plan Ahead

Doing little things like checking the weather can make your night a lot more enjoyable. Making sure that you have a few essentials with you are important. Always make sure that you have emergency cash for a cab, the number for a cab company, and an emergency contact that can come get you if your friends ditch you and you don’t have enough cash for a ride. You might want to also toss in a few band-aids in case those sexy new shoes rub you the wrong way.

Use the Buddy System

Make sure that you watch out for each other. Nothing is more frustrating or potentially scary than turning around and finding that all of your friends have left you behind on accident. It’s safer and more fun to be in a group, so make sure that you have everyone before you move from one place to the next. If you are going to split up, make sure everyone knows who is going with who, so you don’t accidentally lose someone.

Have a Designated Driver

You might not be planning to drink when you set out, but you don’t always know where you are going to end up, so it is best to be prepared. Decide ahead of time who the designated driver will be if you do end up drinking, so you don’t end up with everyone drunk. This will also help you avoid driving with buzzed or even drunk. Nothing kills a night like getting in an accident or dealing with a DUI. The fines and jail time that come along with this is nothing to sniff at and you want to avoid that altogether.

Know Your Limits

While it might be fun to knock drink back with your besties, don’t keep going if you’re getting tipsy. Remember that every person’s body processes alcohol a little differently and you don’t want to end up in a wasted heap at the beginning of the night. Take a break from the drinks and have some water. If you really want to keep drinking, you can always go back to it later.

Eat Plenty of Food

Eating a big, healthy, well-balanced meal before you go out is a must. Not only does it help to prevent getting a hangover, it gives you plenty of energy to dance and walk. It doesn’t hurt to keep a few snacks in your bag, either, in case you start to feel sick or tired. It’s also important to remember to drink lots of water while you’re out!

By making sure that you’re prepared, you don’t have to worry about a ‘worst case’ scenario. So whether you’re heading out to party with a big group, or you’re enjoying the nightlife with a small gathering of close friends, you can make sure your night is even better with a little preparation, common sense, and well thought out planning!
