It’s probably one of the best football tournaments on the planet, where Europe’s footballing elite come together to perform in some of the best stadiums on the planet.

So, who’s favourite? Can Real pull off the impossible and claim it for a third time on the bounce? Well, considering league form they’re falling out of favour but could Ronaldo and co pull it together and make the dream come true?

For the latest tips on the Champions League check out Footy Accas, you’ll find the latest tips, odds and reviews on all the Champs League games here.

England in Europe

So far, going in to October it looks as though all the English teams may be going through to the next stages. Even Celtic look as though they could be in with a shout… But, Munich or PSG look as though they could just step up a gear and push them out.

Liverpool look sure to qualify given their group and their recent performances on the continent, Man City are also odds on; undefeated and looking stronger than ever. Tottenham, having contained Madrid in the Bernabeu look like they’ll not be going home early. Man United look to be cementing themselves firmly in the tournament too, Chelsea are firing too.

The usual suspects – Munich, PSG, Barcelona and Madrid are all looking firm favourites to get through also. But where from qualification do the English teams go?

With Barcelona looking to prove there’s life after Neymar, could they pull it out of the bag? Then there’s PSG, with a line-up that looks as though it’d take down the death star…

Likely Champs of Europe

We’re really struggling to come up with a winner for this one, our hearts are obviously vying for one of the English teams but can they truly compete, given the demands of the premier league, along with the likes of Messi at Barcaand the PSG line-up?

We’re optimistic but realists at the same time. Current form for both Real and Bayern has us thinking they’ll go far but not make it. We’re predicting a Barca V PSG final and think PSG will just have too much and so the trophy will be leaving Spanish soil next year and landing in France…
